A new version of SimpleFont (by Hungarian company Program Produkt) has been released. SimpleFont allows users to create their own pixel fonts, pixel by pixel. If that sounds too difficult for you, you can also jumpstart your design by importing bitmaps and tracing them using the software's trace ability. If you have an existing pixel font, you can also use that as a base and modify or add characters to the font using this software.
